Carbolite has developed a line of ashing and burn-off box furnaces for the heating of combustible materials for material removal or ash residue analysis. There are five different models in this line to choose from, allowing you to choose the furnace that is best suited to your needs. They are designed to withstand mechanical wear and tear, and are highly resistive to aggressive substances.
These box furnaces include specially designed features which improve ventilation and maintain good temperature uniformity. Isolated heating elements in AAF and GSM models eliminate the potential for element contamination, and BWF models' high power graded element winding delivers enhanced heat-up performance. Wire wound muffles heat these furnaces' chambers from four sides, further improving temperature uniformity.
All models feature air inlets at the front of their chambers and outlet chimney in the rear to facilitate convective air flow, providing oxygen to enhance ashing or burning processes, as well as process exhaust. This air flow also reduces carbon build-up within the chamber.
