Carbolite's GPC box furnaces feature high capacities and rugged construction, along with superb performance capabilities and smaller case styles, making them perfect for general and heavy duty workshop use. The design of their free radiating coiled wire elements, along with their low thermal mass insulation, allows our GPC furnaces to reach their working temperatures in approximately 40 minutes. This design also provides efficient, reliable operation, and enhanced chamber uniformity at maximum temperatures of 1200°C and 1300°C.
These box furnaces are available in four chamber sizes: 36, 65, 131, and 200 liters. They're built with long-life, heavy gauge coil heating elements for years of dependable operation. Service and maintenance are relatively easy, thanks to the GPC series' well-designed mechanical and electrical systems.
As with all of Caroblite's products, safety is a key consideration in the design of our GPC box furnaces. They feature vertical lift doors to keep hot insulation away from operators during heating processes. Their doors include positive break safety switches to power down the heating elements when the door is opened. Double shell construction helps keep outer case temperatures low.
