1400°C, 1500°C & 1600°C High Temperature Box Furnaces

Carbolite's comprehensive series of high temperature box furnaces feature maximum working temperatures of 1400°C, 1500°C & 1600°C. These furnaces utilize silicon carbide heating elements that are ideally suited to the rigorous firing cycles laboratory furnaces endure. They’re designed with a unique feature that delivers increased power to the heating elements as they age, allowing them to always achieve their original heat-up performance.

Our high temperature box furnaces are available with 2.9, 7.8, 15, or 35 liter capacity. They feature heating elements on both sides of the chamber to ensure good thermal uniformity. Carbolite high temp box furnaces use two types of insulation: hard-wearing refractory brick around the doorway and in the floor, to resist abrasion and spillage; and lightweight ceramic fiber in all other areas to maximize energy efficiency and heating and cooling times.

All of Carbolite's high temperature box furnaces include a number of safety and usability features. Their vertical lift doors keep hot insulation away from the operator, and the double shell construction ensures low outer case temperatures. These furnaces' doors also include positive break safety switches which isolate power to the heating elements when the door is opened.
