1700°C & 1800°C High Temperature Box Furnaces

Carbolite's high temperature box furnaces utilize molybdenum disilicide heating elements located on either the sides or the sides and rear of the chamber, depending on the model. These superior heating elements deliver improved performance and enhanced chamber uniformity. Their resistance doesn't change over time, even after years of use, so there is no restriction on placement of a new element in the circuit with older elements. The large diameter of the elements significantly reduces the possibility of mechanical breakage.

Our 1700°C box furnaces are available with 5, 10, and 25 liter chamber sizes. 1800°C models are available with 4, 8, 15, and 27 liter chambers. All of these high temperature box furnaces are fitted with our 3216P1 programmable controller and independent over-temperature protection controllers. Carbolite's high temp box furnaces feature high temperature, high strength hot face insulation, combined with graded low thermal mass insulation, to boost energy efficiency and improve heat-up times.

Our high temperature box furnaces include an array of built-in features to improve safety and ease of use. Fan cooling keeps the outer case and critical components at low temperatures. Vertical lift doors protect operators from hot door insulation. Their doors also have positive break safety switches to cut power to the heating elements when the door is opened.
