How Hot?

Not to Cold!

The life of a heating element is shortened when it is used close to its maximum temperature.  So you should choose a furnace with a maximum temperature about 100 degrees higher than you will use.

Not to hot!

If you specify a maximum temperature that is much higher than you need, the furnace will be unnecessarily expensive.  The cost of manufacturing a furnace increase at certain temperatures because of the need to use higher specification materials.
